Well 29 days in and I'm still at it. A little sore today after yesterday's 9-mile long run. Luckily today' was a rest day. I'm going to have to start running in the mornings Tue-Wed-Thu -- we'll see how that goes...

More on the program we're following. Generally it's: Short runs Tue-Wed-Thu, Rest on Mon & Fri, Sat is Cross-training and Long run on Sunday. It's Hal Higdon's Novice Marathon Training Guide.

I've been using the Nike Plus add-on for my iPod Nano for 4 months now. It's the only way to go. It gives real-time time, distance and pace during your run. I only wish the NikePlus website was somehow extensible -- an RSS feed would be nice. Here are some screen shots...

I just started training for Spirit of St. Louis Marathon in April. I plan to follow an 18-week training program which should take me right up to the marathon. This will be my first. My goal is to just finish!
